Welcome to Year 2!

Our class page is here to support both children and parents, and give you lots of useful information about what is going on in our wonderful class! Year 2 Homework Expectations

Homework at St. Gerard’s will be sent home every Friday and should be completed and returned to school the following week for review.

Each week your child will be asked to complete:

- A Maths skills sheet
- An English skills sheet that covers grammar, spelling and punctuation skills,
- Daily reading (please see your child’s reading record for information).
- Numbots/TTRS – Your logins for this are in the front of your reading record book.

PE Days

Our PE days in Year 2 are every Tuesday and Friday. On PE days, children should come to school wearing their full PE kit. Details of our PE expectations can be found on our PE and Sport curriculum page. You will also find our whole school PE long term overview plan on that page.
