Vulnerable Children

Parents/carers of vulnerable children are encouraged to take up the offer of a school place. The definition of vulnerable children and young people includes children who have a social worker, an education, health and care plan (EHCP) or who may be vulnerable for another reason at local discretion (“otherwise vulnerable”).

In order to support school planning and associated risk assessments, parents are required to inform school via the booking system of their request for a school place for their child.

Once you have completed the form, booking should be made by telephone to the school office before 3pm every Thursday for pupils to attend the following week.

All NPCAT schools will continue with our commitment to provide wrap around provision for vulnerable children and children of critical workers. Booking can continue in the usual way via the school office.
